Comments: Just searching our tartan and was very glad to find it. My great grandmother was from Scotland and was a Hunter who married a Talbot, on my father's side. We are Reillys, Sullivans, Hendersons, and Stones. But I have hunted a tartan to identify with and this one is beautiful. Greetings from California! The Reillys

Comments: I come from a long line of "Hunters" in the north of England, many who lived in the Annfield Plain area of County Durham. My grandfather, Edward Hunter, was killed in France in l918 (during WWI) and is buried in Terlincthon Cemetery in Wimille. My grandmother remarried and emigrated with her four sons to Canada, settling in Toronto. One of those sons was Roy Hunter, my father. We have lived in London since l969.
I've done a fair bit of family research and discovered a second cousin in the UK, who had also been researching our branch of the Hunters, and has filled me in on many missing gaps.
I am enjoying your website!
Admin reply: Glad you are enjoying our site Carol. We have recently added a genealogy page to the site, which you may find interesting, which allows members to list their family tree online so that other members may share their information.

Comments: Hi Tom and Family. I have just spoken with Madame Pauline on the phone, and it looks like we will meet again at Hunterston next year. My company will be doing something a bit different next year...should be noisy. Best wishes from Ayrshire, Hugh
Admin reply: Great to hear from you Hugh and great news that you and your group will be doing your thing at Hunterston. What do you mean by "noisy"? Should we be expecting "explosions?"
